Privacy Data 'Breach of the Week'

Numerous CDs containing personal health information were lost in transit by FedEx. The Hospital's billing contractor Siemens Medical Solutions, shipped the CDs in March. They were never received.

The information included dates of birth, driver's license numbers, descriptions of medical procedures, addresses, and Social Security numbers.

Number of potential medical identity theft victims: 130,495 !
